Insanely overpriced bundles, anyone?

So we all know that game stores love to bundle new consoles with as many accessories as possible, but now they're just making a mockery of the Xbox 360 Core System. Gamestop has just announced the prices of their bundles. The only one including the Core system is priced at...you may want to sit down if you aren't currently doing so...$699.91! What do you get with this? Well, you get the core pack, Perfect Dark Zero: CE, Project Gotham Racing 3, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Dead or Alive 4, Call of Duty 2, an extra wired controller, a memory unit, and a 1-year replacement plan. Now, as you can see there is NO HARD DRIVE IN THIS BUNDLE. This, the CORE PACKAGE, was created with those people in mind who want to buy this bare-bones system as a gift. NO ONE WILL BE SPENDING $700 ON THE CORE SYSTEM! END OF STORY!

In other news, they also have an Ultimate Bundle which features the Premium Pack, the games listed above as well as GUN, Quake 4, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, Condemned, Madden NFL 2006, Kameo, with extra accessories being an extra wireless controller, play & charge kit, a rechargeable battery, 12 months of LIVE, and the 1 year replacement warranty for a whopping $1199.83. This is just insane...I don't have much more to say...discuss it amongst yourselves.
